Indications

Epilepsy

• Monotherapy or adjunctive therapy of complex partial seizures
• Monotherapy or adjunctive therapy of simple or complex absence seizure, including petit mal, and is useful in primary generalized seizures with tonic-clonic manisfestations
• Adjunctive therapy of multiple seizure types, including absence seizures or tonic-clonic seizures

Bipolar Disorder

• Treatment of manic episodes, maintenance and prophylactic treatment of bipolar disorder
