Recommended Oral Dose for Domperidone Tablet for Adults and Children over 12 years old weighing ≥ 35kg
Indications | (To be taken 15-30 minutes before meals, and if necessary, at bedtime) |

Short-term treatment of nausea and vomiting of various origins | 10 – 20 mg (1 – 2 tablets) taken three to four times per day Maximum Daily Dose: 80 mg |
Dyspeptic symptom complex often associated with delayed gastric emptying, GERD or esophagitis | 10 mg (1 tablet) taken up to four times oer day (the last dose to be taken at night) Dose may be increased to 20 mg (2 tablets) if necessary Initial course of treatment should not normally exceed 2 – 4 weeks. |
Symptomatic treatment of nausea and vomiting associated with migraine | 20 mg (2 tablets) given up to every 4 hours with paracetamol, as needed, up to a maximum of 4 doses in 24 hours. A course of treatment should not normally exceed two weeks. |
