Indication

Fluorouracil is used for the treatment of the following malignancies:

Carcinoma of the colon or rectum (Colorectal carcinoma)
- Alone or in combination with leucovorin for the treatment of advanced colorectal cancer
Breast cancer
- In combination chemotherapy as an adjunct to surgery in women with breast cancer

Fluorouracil has also shown activity in the following malignancies:

Gastric cancer
Primary hepatic cancer
Pancreatic cancer
Uterine (particularly cervical) cancer
Ovarian cancer
Bladder cancer
