Neurogen-E^® contains B-complex vitamins (vitamins B₁, B₆ and B₁₂) and vitamin E.  B-complex vitamins are required for the normal function of the nervous system and are used as adjunct in the management of various neuromuscular disorders. Together with B-complex vitamins, vitamin E helps maintain membrane integrity in all cells of the body including the nerve tissues. 

The suggested retail price of Neurogen-E^® is PHP 20.00 per tablet.  

Neurogen-E is a Vitamin B-complex (vitamins B1, B₆ and B₁₂) and Vitamin E product for the nerves that contains the optimum amount needed to help treat Vitamin B deficiency as manifested by muscle pain, loss of reflexes in the hands, knees, ankles, calves and feet and abnormal touch sensation (burning and pricking). 

Neurogen-E contains 5X MORE Vitamin B₁₂ (1000mcg), 3X MORE Vitamin B₁ (300mg), with Vitamin B₆ (100mg), and added Vitamin E (100IU) compared to other major over the counter B-complex vitamins. 

• Neurogen-E^® is used for the treatment of deficiencies in vitamins B₁, B₆, B₁₂, and E manifested as: muscle pain, loss of reflexes in the hands, knees, ankles, calves and feet and abnormal touch sensation (burning and pricking)

• Neurogen-E^® is used for the treatment of conditions responsive to high dose vitamins B₁, B₆, B₁₂ and E which include the following:
  • Polyneuropathy

There is no specific time prescribed to take the product. You may take Neurogen-E^® anytime during the day.  

If you miss a dose, just take the next dose and the subsequent doses at the usual recommended schedule, i.e., once a day. Do not double the dose.

Neurogen-E^® tablet may be taken by breastfeeding women. However, since the nutrients in Neurogen-E^® tablet may be excreted in human milk, it is always best to consult your doctor/obstetrician-gynecologist before taking any medicine.

Neurogen-E^® is recommended to be taken by adults, 18 years old and above. If children below 18 years old, we strongly recommend that you consult your child’s doctor/pediatrician since he/she will be in the best position to advise what is most suitable based on your child’s age, health status, and nutritional needs.

The nutrients in this product are relatively nontoxic and are usually well tolerated especially when taken within the prescribed dosage of one tablet daily. However, the following undesirable effects may occur particularly when the nutrients are used at high doses.

• Vitamin B₁: There have been no reported undesirable effects with thiamine.
• Vitamin B₆: Although vitamin B₆ is generally considered to be relatively nontoxic, adverse neurologic effects have been reported following chronic administration of large pyridoxine dosages, e.g., more than 500 mg daily. Nausea, headache, paresthesia (tingling or pricking sensation), sleepiness, and increased serum aspartate aminotransferase (AST, a liver enzyme) and decreased serum folic acid concentrations have been reported. Allergic reactions have been reported occasionally in patients receiving the vitamin. 
• Vitamin B₁₂: Vitamin B₁₂ may occasionally cause diarrhea and skin itching. 
• Vitamin E: Vitamin E (e.g., at dosages exceeding 300 IU daily) has rarely caused nausea, diarrhea, abdominal pain/intestinal cramps, fatigue/weakness, headache, dizziness, blurred vision, emotional disturbances, and rash.

Neurogen-E^® should be taken orally, one tablet daily or, as directed by a doctor.

• Keep the product out of reach and sight of children.
• Store at temperatures not exceeding 30 degrees Celsius.
• Protect from light.

• If you are allergic to any ingredient in the product.
• Cyanocobalamin is contraindicated in patients who have experienced hypersensitivity reactions to cobalt. 
• Cyanocobalamin should not be used in patients with early Leber’s disease (hereditary optic nerve atropy), since rapid wasting of the optic nerve has been reported following its administration to these patients.
