Decolgen^® Forte contains Phenylpropanolamine HCl, Chlorphenamine Maleate, and Paracetamol.

• Phenylpropanolamine HCl is a nasal decongestant that clears obstructed and congested air passages, making breathing easier. It decongests stuffy nose and clogged nasal sinuses.
• Chlorphenamine Maleate, an anti-allergy, relieves symptoms of allergy such as runny nose, sneezing, and itchy, watery eyes.
• Paracetamol is an effective fever reducer and pain reliever.

This medicine is used for relief of cold symptoms and sinusitis.

It relieves clogged nose, runny nose, postnasal drip, itchy and watery eyes, sneezing, headache, body aches, and fever associated with common cold, flu, and other minor respiratory tract infections. It also helps decongest sinus openings and passages.

There are two Decolgen^® variants: Decolgen^® Forte and No-Drowse Decolgen^®. Both variants provide powerful relief for colds and sinusitis.

Decolgen^® can be taken by adults and children who are 12 years old and above, or as recommended by your doctor.

The suggested retail price of Decolgen^® Forte is PHP 7.50 per tablet.

Take 1 tablet of Decolgen^® every 6 hours or as recommended by your doctor.

Decolgen® is generally safe to take with other medications. You may refer to the Patient Information Leaflet for a more detailed description of the precautions when taking Decolgen. It is still best to check with your doctor if you are taking other medications.

Unless recommended by your doctor, do not take if:

• you are allergic to any ingredient in the product
• you have high blood pressure or severe heart disease
• you have anemia, kidney, or liver disease
• you are pregnant or breastfeeding

While Decolgen^® mainly helps you to power through clogged nose and headache, it also reduces postnasal drip which could be a cause of cough. It is still best to consult your doctor should you decide to take the medicine for cough.

It has no known contraindications in COVID-19. While Decolgen^® Forte can relieve symptoms of COVID-19, it is not indicated for the definitive treatment of COVID-19 infection.
