5 Paraan Para Agapan ang Side Effects ng Bakuna

Learn how to address side effects that occur after a vaccination.

Influenza, chicken pox, measles, COVID-19, and more - these are just some of the many diseases na maaaring maiwasan kapag ikaw ay nagpabakuna. But you may be wondering: how do these vaccines work?

Vaccines contain weakened or inactive particles of the virus or bacteria responsible for causing a particular illness. Once  you get vaccinated, your body will start creating antibodies na tutulong sa pagprotekta laban sa mga virus at bacteria na nagdudulot ng sakit.

It’s important that your body creates these antibodies.

Ano ang Mga Posibleng Side Effects After Vaccination?

People feel slight pain (similar to that of an insect bite) on one arm kapag sila ay nagpapabakuna.

  • Fatigue or weakness
  • Pain in the joints or muscles

Not really - normal ang side effects after vaccination.

However, it’s best to consult a doctor right away if you still feel side effects after three days, o nakakaranas ka na ng malalang sintomas tulad ng breathing difficulties (kahirapan sa paghinga), chest pain (sakit sa dibdib), wheezing, swelling of face (pamamaga ng mukha), o loss of speech o mobility.

Follow These 5 Post-Vaccine Care Tips Para Labanan ang Side Effects ng Bakuna

If you’re dealing with side effects post-vaccination, take note of these tips that may help relieve these:

  1. Uminom ng maraming tubig. Doing so helps reduce feelings of illness, lessen time and severity of side effects, and lower risk for dehydration.
  3. Make sure to get seven to eight hours of sleep. Kailangan mo ng good-quality sleep pagkatapos mabakunahan. When you sleep, your body uses this opportunity to improve its defenses.
  4. Subukang gumawa ng light exercise. Doing light movements for your arms that won’t stress out your body may help reduce pain and discomfort caused by vaccines.
  5. Take medicines like Paracetamol to help manage fever and headaches. Make sure to only take these medicines if you have fever, headaches, or body aches AFTER a vaccination. As much as possible, avoid taking these medicines BEFORE a vaccination. There is little information on the effects these medicines can cause in vaccines.

Palaging Maghanda ng Paracetamol (Biogesic®)

If you are scheduled for a vaccination anytime soon, be prepared with a medicine that can help address possible side effects.

Paracetamol (Biogesic®) may help provide relief against pains like headache, and aid in lowering body temperature lalo na kapag may lagnat.

Paracetamol (Biogesic®) can be taken by adults including pregnant and breastfeeding women (if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult your doctor before use), elderly, and children 12 years old and older, and even on an empty stomach.

Tandaan lamang ang ideal dose ng Paracetamol (Biogesic®): one to two tablets orally every four to six hours as needed or as recommended by a doctor.

If symptoms persist, consult your doctor.
