Do not take Alnix® together with alcohol, medicines for anxiety or sleep disorder, medicines for depression, other cold or allergy medicines, or any other medicines that cause drowsiness, sleepiness, and relaxation because of the possibility for increased toxicity.
Undesirable effects with Cetirizine (Alnix® tablet) are rare and occur only at high doses and are usually temporary and mild in severity. Some undesirable effects include: drowsiness/sleepiness, excessive tiredness, dry mouth, sore throat, dizziness, headache, and nausea.
Children aged 6 - 12 years old are recommended to orally take 1 Cetirizine Dihydrochloride (Alnix®) tablet once a day or 1/2 tablet twice a day, or as recommended by a pediatrician.
